Little League World Series 2011 Finals: Undefeateds Will Collide in Championship - Bleacher Report

Mexico and Montana will take their undefeated records all the way to the 2011 Little League World Series Championship. While Japan and California are bound to give them a run for their money, Mexico and Montana will prove to be too much for them to handle.

It was Mexico who sent Japan to the loser's bracket and it will be Mexico who sends them home for good. Japan and Mexico went into extra innings in their first meeting and there is no question that this matchup will produce another close result.

Japan never figured out Mexico's pitching. Like every other team who has faced Mexico, Japan found themselves struggling offensively.

For a team like Japan whose biggest strength is their high on-base percentage, struggling to connect on pitches is problematic. A team like Venezuela that has the power in their lineup to turn a few solid swings into runs stands a much better chance against Mexico.

Japan can't methodically pick apart Mexico, which will place them in another low scoring game. Mexico has found a way to win every single game, batting just well enough to squeeze by their opponents. This will be no different.

Montana and California were surprisingly involved in a pitching duel last time they faced one another. A 1-0 loss sent California to the loser's bracket, but we shouldn't expect the US Championship to play out that way.

Both teams are better offensively than they demonstrated. They both have dangerous lineups to go along with their stellar pitching and that will undoubtedly come into play more than it did in their previous matchup.

California could be the most talented team in the tournament, but Montana has the "it" factor that makes them impossible to pick against. They know how to win and they perform best when they are under pressure.

We're going to see a clash of undefeated teams who were long shots at the beginning of the tournament. It's the unlikeliest of scenarios, which will be the perfect end to the 2011 LLWS.
